How tokeep front TV on while moving

Not to mention is there an inverter in the house? Running the genny so the kids can watch TV is a rather poor use of a generator. We intentionally looked for a rig that does not have a TV in the cabinet over the drivers head. That would drive me nuts!

In my rig I have some nice DVRs that store around up to 540 hours of video without off-loading to the server computers.... and another 500 hours stored on external HD's.. I do not need a Satellite.. this is all OTA recordings.

Plus DVD's and such

But of course I do not have kids in the rig.

If I did I'd hang one of my TV's where they can watch but I can not (Very easy to do, the wiring is already in place)

Ditto...unless you are going to have satellite and a dish that keeps moving...Just get some portable DVD players.

Find the plug for the TV, move it to a different outlet.

WARNING: I know for a fact that tickets have been written or Television on while driving.. Now the way I know this is by observation (I did not get the ticket but did assist in the process).

It is a violation in all 51 states (Washington DC being the 51th) only allowed in the states of Denial and Confusion (Joke).

Of course if you have a Satellite TV DOME (I DO) and are parking in a RV park with Trees (I often do) then being able to turn it on and monitor the Receiver's antenna pointing page can be ... Handy.
(And since you are not on the highway 100% legal)

Portable DVD player. Ridiculous going into different states with different laws enforced. Or maybe your kids should actually look out the windows while driving and see the rest of the real world.

And the audio noise of children's programs coming from speakers right over your head, is absolutely no distraction at all ?

I simply select the Weather Channel, and when the cop stops me I'll try to convince him of what a safe driver I am,.....constantly keeping up with the weather forecast way down the road.......:B I wonder what he will say when he notices the GPS road map on the other screen? I hope it's a lady cop.....because women have a giant sense of humor?

This has been discussed before and it all DEPENDS on the law in your state. And of course the feds have a say in it too.

Since in-motion automatic TV antennas are NOT illegal, it might mean that the TV can not be turned on if it's where the driver can view it.
