It will be nice to have if the trailer is ever shaded, the weather is like it has been the last few months or I want to run more than I can now. Add the 16+ amps the 230w set up can put out and I can run a hot plate, heater, ect.
The last Eco-w is still here. The last two buyers wanted to low ball me and I'd rather just keep it. Should the MS ever go out I can use just the controller on one of the big panels and get through.
BTW
I found out that the MS isn't getting confused and refusing to come out of float, it stays in float for 30 minutes after the voltage drops unless it sees a sleep cycle. That means I'll have to shut down the array and fool the controller every time I want to run a big load off of the panels. This was never a issue with the Eco-w.
