Since you have a small battery bank I would increase the solar wattage. 375 watts would be good.
Thanks. My battery compartment has room for a 3rd battery, so I may add another. The thing is ridiculously biased weight-wise toward the driver's side. The generator, fresh water tank, black water tank and house batteries are all on that side. There's not much to offset it on the right side so I've hesitated adding a 3rd battery. But that's another subject entirely.
It sounds like I need to go right from the controller to the batteries, which I can do by coming down through the roof and into some cabinetry with the panel wiring. There's a good spot next to my couch that happens to be directly above the battery bank for the controller.
I'm going to get the inverter working first to see how quickly it kills my batteries, then move on to the solar project.
