My wife's coffee maker for the trailer, a cheap single cup 'Noname' is 600 watts and seems to work fine off a vasic battery. If the fancy ones are 1700 watts then you're not only on the edge of the fuse rating for the a.c. plug the high current draws down a higher percentage of the battery for a given wattage (it gets increasingly inefficient at conversion) and you may need double batteries. Me I drink coke in the morning, friends I brew a pot on the propane stove.
