For a coffee pot.. usually aroudn 750 Watts max. You want about 1,000 watts. So long as there is no timer on the coffee pot, just a heat element, MSW is just fine.. You can get one at nearly every store on the following list:
Truck Stops

Wal*mart and competitors
Sam's Club
Costco
Any RV place.
And many other stores
Connect to battery with the shortest cables possible, DO remember to include a "T" fuse, Put the inverter in the compartment near the batteries but not where battery fumes can invade it. Run 12Ga wire to the coffee pot. 12ga cuase of the lwoer voltage loss not due to current (14 can also be used but 12 is not much more expensive for a short run)
If you are in S.E GA I have a 1,000 watt in my trunk.. Not sure if I want to sell it but.. Well.. I knwo it worked last time I used it.
