Hmm, just a matter of detecting over temperature and shutting down?
Every clothes dryer has one of those, costing about ten dollars. If it just cut the DC power to the fridge, that should shut it off, right?
I have been toying with the idea of making an "unlevel" shutoff. Just a mercury switch for the DC to the fridge, as in an old thermostat.
