Yes, I am pretty embarrassed to have done what EVERY NEWBIE HERE does -- and so I should know better -- maxing out my truck's weight capacity. It's 3/4 ton truck! I never thought I had 3/4 ton of gear. But I do.
I am googling local shops.. finding semi places, rv places, 4x4 places... there is a normal-car wheel and brake shop near me with excellent reviews. I guess I will call evetybody tomorrow and see who says my job is in their bailiwick.
As for your point about shocks, danged if I know. I mean, I would hope they would not be designing them for this rig if the rig could not handle them, but what do I know?!
