The proper leaf springs for the load is certainly best.
I think they would ride better than weak springs assisted by airbags, like mine.
That said I very much like dialing in the PSI for the load, as I often carry a lot of tools, and then remove them when out exploring.
If forced to urban camp, I like pulling up to my prospective unlevel spot with 100PSI in both airbags, and letting the air out of the bag which is on the street side of the road, vs the curb side.
I've had no issues with leaks in 7 years, but the first set mailed to me both had small leaks. Summit made it right.
