Wow RoyB
Looks like you did some post research. Thanks for the info.
I do have a 4000 watt on board genny that will get run in the evenings for a couple 3 hours or what ever it takes. From my tent camping days I have 3 LED lanterns that are already in the trailer and will be used when we are just setting around and don't need real light. Gas lantern is already in the trailer as well. I'm taking the buddy heater for emergency heat source and hope I don't have to use it, if I do I will use it just as responsibly as I did in a 10x10 canvas tent. Trailer has LED lights and a smart converter.
I have no plans of using the inverter at this time, I decided not to wire it into the trailer as I don't care to much about tv and all I really wanted was a way to charge GPS's and phones, I have since wired a 12 volt and usb plug into the trailer for this charging.
With the solar I plan on setting it out to take advantage of the noon day sun, if I am back at camp I will adjust the panels to get the most light but in general they will be left out while I'm hunting and anything the do will be better then nothing.
Yep I'm going to jump in the truck and head to the woods and hope for the best but as an old Forester that has spent his youth in the woods I know I can deal with the worst with little discomfort. Heck I have a dry box to sleep in with very little concern about leaks as well as a nice wind break its got to be better then sleeping in a tent at 10 degrees with 10 inches of snow on the ground and gail force winds.
I'm off work for 2 weeks with no wife supervision, eating camp food, riding ATV's and packing a muzzle loader around the woods how can it get better then that.
