Before solar, my battrees never seen over 70-80% for 3 months on generator in Qzsite AZ. I would notice lower voltages, less capacity over the length of that time. When I'd leave for home, a full days drive would have them near full charge, and another days drive would have them back to normal again, no loss in capacity whatsoever. And those same batteries lasted 8 yrs, just like everybody elses that claims to know everything about battrees !
And whatever the 2 days drive din't fix, the PD converter surely did.

It wouldn't be a good a good idea to let the charge go lower and lower every day for entire week, until it's down to 50% by the day 7.
The longer you let the battery stay like this, the shorter becomes its life. If you're camping for more than a day or two, it is desirable to be able to bring it to Full on most days.
