I would like to start a conversation that has a lot of talk

I have a 2000 watt Champion that is almost as quiet as the red and blue ones. When running on economy mode you can't barely hear it.

I recently spent a few days at a public campground at the beach and several people were running open-frame contractor generators and they were awful. Thankfully, none of the yahoos using those generators were near me.

Maybe it's time for campgrounds to start setting maximum noise levels for generators. What do you think?
