I was at a Cracker Barrel once overnighting and there was a school bus conversion with a contractor style genset. It was loud and annoying. Much louder than a refer unit. Don't be that guy.
While expectations at a Walmart are low, I would not want to be parked next to a loud genset.
As a driver you know some locations/communities prohibit idling,Jake Brakes and refer units due to noise. A blaring loud genset is just another thing to give Wal- Mart overnighting a bad rap.
Maybe at a NASCAR event a loud genset maybe acceptable, however if it is to be used around others an inverter genset is the courteous way to go.
