A 100 watt panel pointed sorta at the sun will yield 5+ Amps on an average sunny day.
I have 2 60 watt panels mounted flat on our 5er, and a portable 100 watt panel. If we're in a sunny spot I don't need the 100 watt panel. If in total shade, the 100 watt panel will do fine if I can get a sorta sunny spot.
A 100 watt panel might be a little hard to pack in a POPUP; if you look around this forum, you can find an example of a couple of panels hinged together to form a more compact portable setup.
Regards,
Doug
