Yes. Tongue box - many people installed one like this, I think 2 batts will fit there, and they come in bigger sizes too. Bolt it to the tongue. The ledge at the back is handy for installing a battery disconnect switch or a fuse. Might still be too big to fit between the trailer and propane tank.

2*31 batteries will holed a lot of charge, but if you have to carry one battery every time from truck to trailer and back, they are quite heavy.
