As Chris stated, you MUST pull the complete furnace to do any work on the furnace. This is a specific model where they do not have any access to the internal parts without removing the complete furnace. Adding an outside door will NOT gain access and you will then have a extra hole in the outside of the RV. Doug
The odds are he has a defective hi limit switch. Since it did run and then quit, that is the indication of a defective hi limit switch.
