I can't compare my experience with a full-timer's as to which battery to choose. There are many factors to consider.
If a person had access to new 232AH 6s for $80 each that would be that. I am "just sayin' " the T-1275 is a better battery for the same job, ignoring the money.
I got mine used, in a condition where they were no longer good enough for golf car use, but too good to toss out, so they were for sale as such. Not everyone would want to take that on and do the "recovery" work.
I am reporting that these five year old T-1275s with all their history, are doing better than my five year old 6s I got new, and they do better with high inverter draws too. I expect to get a couple more years from the 6s, but now I think the T-1275s will outlast them. I can only imagine starting off with new T-1275s.
A different battery might do as well or better for a different RVer. But always remember: (To steal a line from the US Army)
