I like the 120 mm Silverstone fm121. Variable speed 33 to 110 cfm, but I was not considering them in this application.

Hoping you will elaborate.....
I can understand how speeding up the compressor, even temporarily, might be a poor idea, especially if the condenser fan was unable to remove the increased heat. I cannot, at this point, see how a more efficient fan utilizing the whole condenser could be anything but beneficial, except perhaps in ambient temperatures approaching freezing.
I have been in contact with 3 others with 49 to 51 liter models of Vitrifrigo, Truckfridge and Isotherm(non asu) units and all the fans were of different brands and cfm (32 to 65) ratings, yet all the coldplates and condensers are The same size and they all use no resistor in the thermostat circuit.
I can't help but think the bean counters overruled the engineers since that is how almost every other manufacturer works.
It's not like I'm planning on changing the level of refrigerant, just tweaking airflow.
