I recall reading that on your site, and the increase was not including the power the fan drew either correct?
I got a full gallon of milk and a bunch of condiments and lunch meats in it that I took from a cooler with ice still in it.
My old Norcold fridge benefited greatly with the interior fan behind the coldplate blowing down. I had/have it on a switch, and since the compressor was so loud I always was aware how often and how long it ran, and it was always worse with the fan off. The only time I switched it off was when I was loading the fridge, or ambient temperatures were 45 or below. Perhaps with more time without the fan the fridge portion of the box would have lowered. My Ir gun was showing ridiculously cold temps in the freezer and spots at 50f in the fridge section, and in an hour the fan brought everything to the safe range.
Right now I am at 4:10 on, 11:50 off and no spot in the interior is above 39, most are 35 or below. 63f ambient.
My interior fan is staying. It is only ~5cfm, I could see how a higher CFM fan might increase consumption.
