By the way, I agree that venting the rejected heat will increase the refrigerator efficiency as the coefficient of performance increases with a smaller delta T:
I got the diode installed on the relay, but as I turned the fridge on I realized there is relay in the control panel that closes to turn on the condenser fan ( I could hear it close).
