That noise now, it's an air flow noise, not a motor noise, so getting rid of it would be difficult. If you haven't done so yet, maybe you can close the whole area above the fridge with a front panel, separating it from the cabin area, so it would become a kind of a flue, with air intake in front under the fridge or at the low rear wall. Provided, you have an air exit somewhere above.
