The fridge heat is minimal, but in windy weather I can feel some airflow come out from under the fridge when the compressor is not running. I just want to be able to block outside air from entering the living space. If all my other vents are closed, and my roof exhaust is on, then air flow is reversed, and funnels air backwards through the fridge tunnel. When the compressor runs then these fans fight each other and reduces air pressure inside so much I get altitude sickness. LOL
Also when driving, air wants to enter the vehicle through the louvered vent. So driving in rainy weather would funnel damp air where I don't want damp misty air.
The window is electrically operated so I do not need to climb inside the cabinet to close the window behind the louvered vent. I might just leave the future passive vent into the next compartment open at all times, and allow a portion of condenser exhaust enter the next compartment at all times, and all the exhaust when the window is shut.
