I fought the power lines for 2 years. I now know WAY more than any human being should about transmission lines.
"Stray Voltage"
They are supposed to ground them every 1/4 miles and they DO NOT.
The SO-CALLED (and it's not) safe distance determined by the power companies is 300 feet. Anything closer than that causes interference and dangerous stray voltage which actually occurs at any distance.
I sold my dream home of my life because of transmission lines and all what I found out about them.:(
They can not put power lines any where's near a school because it was proved to cause cluster cancer, yet it IS safe to put them by peoples houses....go figure. :R
I would NEVER park my MH near any transmission lines ever.
