You can add an Emitter follower to that DC-DC convertor; it amplifies the current.
V-s is the solar panels ...
V-in is the output from the DC-DC converter ...
V-out goes to the battery.
You can put a few of these in parallel with a 1 Ohm resistor in the Base lead on each transistor.
You will need a large heat sink.
