Installed new Dometic Rooftop A/C - Do I Dicor caulk?

I just finished installing a new Dometic Brisk Air 2 rooftop a/c unit. Installed it as per the instructions. Nothing is mentioned about caulking around the outside gasket with Dicor or anything. It simply states to tighten the 4 bolts down that squeezes the top a/c gasket to the rooftop. I am supposed to seal around the outside gasket with Dicor or something? Or do you only seal around it if there is a leak? Seems like I would need to seal it additionally with something.
