Ambient this morning 12C/55F and temps actually overshot a little. Slid thermistor back up and went to #2 on the dial to see if that comes out right later.

EDIT: It did! Later got -19C freezer and +2C fridge--perfect!

Freezer -21C/-8F and Fridge -3C/28F

Huge thanks to the suggestion to clamp the new element on like that! The Forum saves the day again! :)

EDIT-- It was Chris Bryant who suggested clamping it on. Got great info and advice from the other pros as well.
