Tomorrow morning looks good but if I can't rerun the test I'll cut up the logs.
The panels are on the drive on 1x3's to give them some ventilation.
As a load I used a oil filled heater with 600/900/1500w settings to bring down the voltage. Even getting down in to the 12's didn't cause the controller to change after it had been connected to all four panels while cloudy. It's like it picked a point and gave up. I've seen the same 20a with three panels in overcast skys as I did with four. Connected while it was sunny and at times the array was providing 100 watts more than the controller was delivering.
I can figure a way to do a parallel test tomorrow between two panels.
