This is pretty much what I found except add in that in different light, different types of panels react differently. My 245w Mono panels in bright light ran at the same Voc as the 250w polys do. However any drop in the light would cause the mono to drop significantly while the polys would only lose a little. No matter, the array will follow the mono and crash all of the panels.
A 230w poly doesn't crash like the mono in lower light but it limited the array all of the time.
