It's same expensive as a small Platinum Cat - more BTU, yes. And it burns a lot more propane because it's not catalytic. I think 18,000 BTU is way too much for a camper or small trailer, unless in extreme cold, and it's an on-off machine, no thermostat. I wouldn't find a space for this on the wall of my 26ft trailer, 22x26 inch is pretty big.
It is probably 70% efficient. We don't know if that 18K BTU number is input or output. But I'd guess it is input.
