It appears that the hose you are using is leaching some chemical(s) into your water supply when the hose is sitting in direct sunlight. Or it might be "flat" water. Regardless, if it were me, I would purchase another water hose to be safe. They are not expensive and hopefully would eliminate the off taste in the water during hot weather.
