Haven't checked the price but OUTBACK is the company that a majority of Trace Engineering engineers fled to when Trace Engineering was sold to XANTRAX of Beijing.
My ancient 4024 Trace Inverter has 100% made in the USA components, except for the Panasonic low ESR capacitors which were made in Japan.
Outback is a big name player in the community for reliability
But here is where price may influence feasibility. When I purchased my Trace, it was because I felt confident I would be able to pass it down to my kids.
Following in Trace's footsteps, Outback does not shuttle customer service into the 2nd class treatment bin.
