David .... I don't think that's an advantage of only Lifeline AGM batteries.
The technical literature of other AGM battery manufacturers state that they can absorb large recharging currents if the recharging starts from low enough of a battery discharged state and if the charging device can reach high enough voltage at those large recharging currents that can be absorbed.
The danger is .... AGM thermal runaway can happen if the charging device is too robust and if the deice does not get shutdown automatically from heat sensors attached to the case of the battery.
