Another question as well, during all of the testing and checking I have done today, I have noticed that while plugged in to shore power my batteries are making a boiling noise. And you can smell the smell of acid. What would be causing this? Any suggestions ?????
If you have a voltmeter, measure the battery voltage. Maybe the problem with the inverter/charger is that it is putting out to great a charging voltage. I would expect a voltage well under 14v.
Will try that first thing in the morning. Also found how to reset the inverter. Going to try that in the morning as well. Thanks for the help,
Tried the reset that I found last night, it did not work. I checked the battery voltage and it came in at 13.6 volts. Not sure what else to do. Going to call CW this morning when they open to see if they have one in stock. I am just wondering what could have made this one go bad. Everything I have read is that these things are built to last. This one is 6yrs old.....
