Let me put it this way
Honda Inverter Generators have been the "Gold Standard" for Portable RV Generators for some time.
However it can be argued that Yahama are actually better (Which is why I want that yahama if he does not)... For one thing the same class has a bit more power
It also has better construction in the engine, and is actually a bit (not enough to notice) less noisy.
But, Honda has a large dealer base so if you need service.. it's out there and you can likely find it easily.
Yahama, not as large a dealer base so unless you are up for a major repair (As it happens I used to do that kind of work) Honda might be better.. or not.
Champion... Well when they first came out ..... they had quality control issues, Serious ones.. but that was years ago and I'm fairly sure all those have been either repaired or recalled (Just one part needed replacement)
And someone says they are now US based,, originally they were imported.
I will not say one brand is better than another
But if you ask me for a Recommendation I will go with the ones that are Tried and True,, Honda and Yahama. I may pay "lip service" to others, but it's Honda and Yahama I will recommend.. Because they have the track record.
