What branch circuit did you connect to?
If you are on one circuit you are not whole house.
Sorry if i'm not explaining correctly. I disconected the main AC wires from the power panel and plugged that into the invertor. Then I plugged the output of the invertor back into the main a/c fuse panel which connects to the whole house.
