Inverter only runs when when generator runs or shore power.

Greetings, Just bought a class A and the only time the 12 volt system runs is when I am plugged into shore power or I run the gen. I know there are switches that cut off your house from the coach....

This is a typical 30AMp wiring configuration setup for trailers from GOOGLE Search.

Sounds like you are mixing up an INVERTER with the CONVERTER. In the RV world they are two different animals.

This layout is really for trailers but the motorhomes follow the same basic ideas.


The POWER INVERTER statement above should say 12VDC to 120VAC.
