I recently installed a Progressive Dynamics 30a transfer switch and it works just fine.
Are you sure you need to move the converter? I would be inclined to leave it as is and just mount the inverter behind the main panel. Just use the main battery feed for inverter 12v supply. I assume it is #6 wire. You will be pulling 10 amps, maybe 20 max. This would allow the use of the first plug in transfer switch I posted above. This would require no pulling of wire, just make connections.
What converter do you have now? Are you moving for faster charging? What size wire connects the battery to main panel?
