Not true! A properly installed Magnum or Xantrex inverter does not require that any breakers be turned off when it is in use. The inverter/chargers made by these companies (and others) contain an internal transfer switch that switches my outlets from inverter power to shore power or genset when those are available. The inverter has it's own 30A breaker in the MH's breaker box and has two breakers following it in a subpanel.
Rewiring a coach and installing such an inverter wouldn't be an easy job, but it is not an impossible one, either.
