Probably so but you may also be interrupting power to receptacles. That would make the use of this circuit breaker as a switch for the converter and choosing a "whole house" approach with inverter, a poor choice. Additionally, my experience tells me that using circuit breakers as a branch circuit interrupter is not a good choice. Most circuit breakers are not built for the duty cycle of a common switch, internal parts will wear out. YMMV
