Now that you say you're swapping for another in the Freedom series, I can agree. Not every "inverter" does everything these Heart Interface units like the Freedom 10 and 20 do. Like Transfer Switch and Battery Charging. I think you'd be OK with this swap, just realizing that even 1000W is going to run batteries down pretty fast, let alone 2000W.
