I Doubt that he needs 2000 Watts of inverter power
And leaving the original fussing in place should be fine
Provide there is a fuse between the inverter and batteries
Iirc he's said there was a 150 amp fuse in the battery cable line to the INVERTER
He just recently got the RV , i think he could stick with the original wiring and fuse, and upgrade later if needs the full 2000 Watts power
