That's so outrageous that I never considered it a possibility. Good thing somebody can think outside the box! The hit-and-miss troubleshooting hasn't worked, which often means there are two or more problems in the mix. Isolation is IMO the way to go. I like the idea of totally bypassing the freedom, i.e. zero wires connected to it, with the shore cord temporarily hooked to what was the freedom's ac output. In that situation, what AC devices do and don't work?, and does the battery voltage go from 12-something to 14 when the AC power is applied?
