Inverter Swap 1000 for 2000watts
I have a fried 1000watt inverter/ charger, and I am wondering if I can swap it w a 2000watt one without any other changes to my electrical system.? They are the same brand and are the same exact unit,...

Just an Info note:
the xantrex freedom 458
is not the same thing as the heart interface freedom 10
they are different devices ,in build and quality
xantrex bought 'heart interface' then used the freedom model branding on cheaper built units
a few years back 'maybe 10' there were some posts on here about failing 458 inverters
if i remember right, if it failed during warranty xantrex just replaced it with another one, after warranty NO repair or parts,
anything about fuses etc in a 458 has nothing in common with a an F-10 etc 'HEART' inverter
i would not own a xantrex 458
