Inverter Swap 1000 for 2000watts

I've purchased cables from this place and agree that they look like good quality. I'm figuratively scratching my head why the original cables aren't correct for replacing a freedom 10 with a freedom 10? By "splicing" if you mean bolting the lugs of two cable ends together I think that would be good for testing purposes, or for permanent installation if the splice is really well insulated. For myself, I'd prefer the correct length cables for the permanent installation.
