all your breakers are ON ? batteries 12.6v ok ?
seems like NO other converter, all 110v is working, thats good

freedom 20 puts out 15.0 when it is turned on but not connected to shore. Remember this is with the shore wires going directly into it at "ac input" and i am checking it at "ac output" straight out of the unit.
what does that mean mean ?
15 what where, 15v on the 120v output ? that is load sense limiting the output until you turn something on, read about it in the manual
15v on the battery wires ? that is where the charging goes, on the battery wires
before you said 14v, i
assumed you meant on the battery wires, but you did not say, now you say 15v.. where is this
AFAIK as far as i remember there is NO way to turn off charge mode, if you have shore power connected it should be in charge mode, the front switch turn invert on-off, remote turns invert on-off, the remote does not turn charge off
the dip switches
on the back side of the remote might change this mode
they do control load sense, on-off, and remote mode yes-no
i think the freedom 20 some models have dual input
don't remember if one can charge while one is on pass thru
you need to delve into the manual and look at the settings
you also need to wire a 110 cord to the F-20, nothing else !!
check for 14v charge voltage on the battery connections
we already know the invert side works...runs you A/C
the DIP switches for settings modes is on the back of the "remote" panel
