Would it work to make up an extension cord with male ends at both ends and just plug the one end into an outside plug thus powering up the trailer.
Would this impact the trailers converter in any way?
Why do you need a male to male extension cord? (Which, I strongly suggest AGAINST.)
My first inverter setup, I would first turn off the breaker for my converter and anything else I didn't want to run on the inverter (aka fridge, water heater, etc). I then ran my camper's power cord to my inverter and adapted it down to a 15amp connection (50 to 30 to 15). I then would plug the whole camper into the inverter.
I actually ended up switching to a 50amp to 15amp twist lock adapter for the camper (link to it
on Amazon). I then would just use a heavy extension cord instead of dragging out the camper's power cord.
