Inverter whine - exceedingly high pitched
There is a fairly faint very high-pitched whine from our Go Power 1750W Inverter HD when it's on. We have used it since 2006 so I know that everything is correctly wired and all connections are tight....

I work in computers and that high pitched whine is usually an indication of a failing power supply (same sort of electronics as your inverter). The thing is, I've seen some go like that for years, and some die right away. If you're sure it's coming from the inverter I would probably just be prepared to replace it sometime in the near future.
