Inverter/Charger mystery

Can anyone think of any reason why my house batteries seem to charge when running the generator but not the shore power cord? House batteries are brand new. 2001 Fleetwood Expedition 36t with 30amp service.
FYI I did check the outlet I'm plugged into plus everything 110 is working while on shore power.

I beginning to think gremlins are real and are living in my electrical system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • what is the "measured/tested" voltage of each one
take readings on generator and shore power

low shore power voltage could be the problem

built in genny or portable, is RV 30amp or 50amp
  • The genset could be charging through the 12 volt system and not through the 120 volt inverter/charger or converter.
Check your battery disconnect. Suggest cycling it off then back on.
Look for a tripped 12 volt DC circuit breaker around the batteries or the battery control center.
  • Some possibilities:

    Battery disconnect solenoid is off.
    Bad inverter/charger.
    Inverter/charger turned off.
Blown fuses between battery and inverter/charger.
