Good info Mex, I think that supports what you and everybody has been saying before.
The last little test I ran was to power my "2amp" maintainer charger doing the 12s from the inverter on the 6s. This charger charges first to 14.x then goes into a float at 13.4. It was doing the initial charge part, drawing 3 amps as seen on the Trimetric.
I haven't figured a scenario for doing that in real life. Maybe for off-grid when we are away for a few days where solar is on the 6s and I want to also float the 12s? Anyway it works ok.
