Invertor & tv ?

Is there a way to turn the tv on by one push of the button instead of having to push the Invertors on button and then push the tv's on button which is 2 steps instead of one .

Maybe when you want to shut the tv off Don't press the tv off button but just press the Invertor off button to kill the power , then when you want to turn the tv on just press the Invertor on button and the tv comes on because it was never turned off.

I know my old tv could work that way!

Some TV's you can do that others you can not.

IF not boondocking leave the inverter on If boondocking well what is wrong with 2 buttons. I mean I recall when I had to get up and cross the room to turn the TV on.
  • No way I know of doing it.... The TV can't communicate with the inverter, therefore there's no known way of doing it.

When I've boondocking, I leave the inverter on most of the time since the power draw is so minimal.
  • If the TV has a remote, it has to have power at all times so it can detect the remote telling it to turn on.
  • I suspect most of not all modern tv’s do not come on automatically after a power interruption. So I think you’ll have a two button process.
