My kitchen faucet froze and cracked. Replaced with new one.My pump hammered like crazy.Company said it was a "green" faucet..conserve water use. Okay..bought and installed another one--Phoenix guarant...

Look to see if there is a small washer looking restrictor. It is located in the aerator in the faucet spout.
Removing it will allow for more water to flow and will reduce the cycling of the pump.
